'Bunnies Inside Her' is a surrealist dark comedy the playwright, Ann gillespie, started to develop whilst completing her ma at the royal academy of dramatic art. it is a whirlwind interpretation of the true story of a woman named mary toft. in 1726, in godalming surrey, her family attempted to swindle their neighbours by pretending mary could birth rabbits. however the story soon escalated beyond the control of the family, the neigbours, and poor old mary toft ...
